Save The Children's Rainbow
A seven book series written and illustrated by Myler Hughes.
The story is written in verse, and tells the story of This Australian adventure tells the story of ‘Dark Cloud’ who steals ‘Rainbow’ and also wants the Didgeridoo to stop all the fun and games the children are having.
Dark Cloud does this, by turning a cattle dog, True Blue into a Shadow and then gets Shadow to do his naughty work for him.
The children set off to save Rainbow with the help of Tooky the bullfrog. On their way, they meet Kooky a Kookaburra, Joey Merloo a flying kangaroo and Mareeky a Koala, and together they form the Brave Seven who aim to save Rainbow from Shadow and Dark Cloud.

Myler Hughes is a surrealism artist, poet, writer and photographer who's unique creative freestyle provokes the imagination and fantasy of a different world with emotional depth. His work captures fleeting moments, reflections, shadows, and abstract perspectives, that challenge the viewer to look beyond the surface.
“My art is free flowing and spontaneous, I never know what I am going to create until it is created... allowing the free flow of creative thoughts to direct my art... Poetry in motion is an art I pursue, that allows me to challenge and delve into thought streams that allow for written words to create an imaginary world of fantasy and song."
Myler’s creative process is rooted in observation and stillness. From Zen illustrations that evolves as I scribe to poetry in verse that reflects emotion in a fantasifull and whimsical playful manner, each collection reflects a quiet complexity that invites introspection.
